Betty White receives invite to Marine Corps Ball...

Actress Betty White is the latest celebrity to receive an invitation to a Marine Corps Ball.

Hollywood stars Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake were asked to attend two separate military galas via videos posted by personnel on YouTube.com earlier this month, and now the "Hot in Cleveland" actress has won the affections of her very own soldier Sgt. Ray Lewis.

Lewis, a veteran and aspiring hip-hop artist, recently filmed his own web message for Betty, asking the 89-year old star to be his date.

Dressed in his uniform, holding a red rose, he says, "I'd like to take Betty White to the Marine Corps Ball. She's funny, she's sweet, she's mature. She's the all-around perfect woman. I really think that we'd have a good time. I'm fun. I think I can make her laugh. I think she can make me laugh. I think we can laugh together."

It is not yet known whether Betty will accept the invitation but Justin and Mila are so far scheduled to attend their respective parties.

Katy Perry dismisses marriage trouble reports...

Katy Perry has brushed off the latest reports that suggest her marriage to Russell Brand is in trouble, insisting they are keeping a low profile in a bid to maintain their privacy.

The "I Kissed A Girl" hitmaker and the British funnyman married last year, but they have been dogged by rumors of a rift in recent months.

The couple has rarely been seen together and reports suggested they were planning a trial separation.

Katy and Russell recently purchased a new Los Angeles home together and the singer has now spoken out in a bid to silence gossip about their relationship, revealing they are just trying to keep their private life out of the public eye.

In a post on Twitter she writes, "Just cause we don't flaunt our relationship doesn't mean there's something wrong with it. Privacy is our luxury. Tabloids arer trash. Gossip is gross."

Russell backed his wife's comments, writing, "You tell 'em Mrs Brand! In Britain we're currently dismantling the scum media so I'm not tuned in to their brain-farting."

Ricky Martin fan crawled through vent for autograph...

Ricky Martin was left bewildered when a fan crawled through a hotel's ventilation shaft in a desperate bid to meet him.

The "Livin' la Vida Loca" hitmaker was wandering naked around his suite when he heard a noise coming from the air vent.

He soon became aware someone had gained access to the hotel's air duct, and he was so impressed with the fan's tenacity, he happily posed for photographs.

Asked about his "craziest fan moment," Ricky says "This Morning," "I was walking around my room naked and I hear this noise. I'm like, someone is in this room. They were in the vents. They found a way to get into the ventilation of the room. But you know what, I had to take a picture with them, and sign autographs and everything, because really they were... I'm still talking about it."

It's Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez...

The "Baby" hitmaker and his Disney star girlfriend were taking a walk on the beach when they overheard the star's music being blasted at a wedding party nearby.

And the couple couldn't resist crashing the bash and posing for pictures with the wedding guests.

A partygoer says, "Unbeknown to all of the guests, Justin Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez were just done eating at a restaurant up the road from the Adamson House estate and had decided to take a stroll down the beach. I guess he heard his song play and decided to crash the wedding party to check the scene out.

"He was cool enough to make a cameo, which surprised all of the wedding guests. He even took the microphone, congratulated the newlywed couple, and said a few nice words, while posing for a series of pictures with his fans. That was one of the coolest and nicest things a person of his celebrity can do, and it certainly made a memorable night for the newlywed couple Mr. and Mrs. Rob and Jeanine McCool."
