Tony Bennett supports Lady Gaga for restaurant opening...

Tony Bennett supported his pal Lady Gaga's parents on Wednesday by attending the opening of their restaurant in New York.

The veteran crooner teamed up with Lady Gaga last year to duet on a recording of "The Lady Is a Tramp," and he also painted a nude portrait of the star.

And Tony showed he's grown close to Gaga's family as he was spotted mingling with guests at the grand opening of her parents Joseph and Cynthia Germanotta's Manhattan eatery Joanne on Wednesday night.

Tony's appearance gave the evening some star quality but it appears the Germanottas' new business venture could be in for a tough time - New York Post restaurant critic Steve Cuozzo snuck into the "no media allowed" opening night but was disappointed with his meal, likening it to airline food.

Witherspoon scarred by car accident...

Reese Witherspoon has been left permanently scarred after she was hit by a car while jogging last year.

The actress was struck by a vehicle driven by an 84-year-old woman as she went for a run in Santa Monica, Calif., in September.

She escaped serious injury and shrugged the incident off as a minor mishap - but now she's revealed she landed on her head after being knocked down, and has been left with a scar on her forehead which she covers up with a new hairstyle.

Reese tells U.K. talk show host Graham Norton, "I was jogging and I got hit by a car, its not funny at all. They said I am very hard headed because I landed right on my head and I have a scar, hence my new hairdo. I don't remember much about it but miraculously and thank God I am fine."

Ramsay settles out of court with in-laws...

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has ended his legal dispute with his in-laws by reaching an out-of-court settlement on Wednesday.

The British cook fell out with his wife's family in 2010 when he fired his father-in-law, Chris Hutcheson, as chief executive of his restaurant business.

Hutcheson subsequently filed a lawsuit against Ramsay, while the TV star hit back by filing his own legal papers against several of his wife Tana's relatives.

Ramsay accused Hutcheson of hacking into his personal and company files, withdrawing millions of dollars from the firm and using the money to reportedly fund a double life with an alleged mistress.

The legal battle has now formally ended after both sides agreed on an out-of-court settlement, although details of the deal have not been released.

Ramsay's representatives at Freud Communications reveals, "Gordon Ramsay and Gordon Ramsay Holdings have reached a settlement with Chris Hutcheson and other members of the Hutcheson family.

"The terms of the settlement are confidential but we can confirm that Chris Hutcheson is no longer a director or shareholder of Gordon Ramsay Holdings and all civil litigation and employment tribunal claims brought by each of the two parties and other family members have been withdrawn."

Pickler patches up relationship with troubled father...

Singer Kellie Pickler has jumped to the defense of her troubled dad, insisting he's always been a "good father" despite his criminal past.

Clyde "Bo" Raymond Pickler, Jr. spent much of his daughter's childhood behind bars for various crimes, including a three-year stint in prison for aggravated battery and assault relating to a 2003 stabbing.

Kellie's mother Cynthia left him when the star was just 2 years old, but the "American Idol" favorite insists she doesn't harbor any hard feelings towards her dad for being a less-than-perfect parent, admitting they've recently patched up their relationship.

During an appearance on "The View" on Wednesday, she said, "We all have our speed bumps that we hit in the road. I know that the media has kind of put him out there as this really, really bad person. Of course he's made bad choices but he is a good father. I spent a lot of my childhood with him, whenever he was not incarcerated.

"He spent a lot of time teaching me how to fend for myself. He taught me my life skills. I know how to survive and make something from nothing and he taught me how to do that.

"He's the person I call dad regardless; I'm a daddy's girl. I learned the hard way that it's so important to come to this place of forgiveness because, in the long run, hating anybody is only hurting yourself."

It's Lady Gaga...

The phrase #GagasCareerDiedWithJamey became one of the most popular Twitter topics on Thursday as users made reference to tragic teen Jamey Rodemeyer, who allegedly took his life after years of bullying over his sexuality.

The "Bad Romance" hitmaker was outraged by the craze and took to her own Twitter page to defend Rodemeyer.

She writes, "Tweets about a 14 yr olds suicide in order to take a jab at me? Consider your integrity making fun at a dead child's pain.

"Direct your insults (at) Lady Gaga, I can take it. Don't bring in those who are not alive anymore to defend themselves. Be braver than that."

The singer launched a campaign to make bullying illegal after learning that New York native Rodemeyer had committed suicide to escape his tormentors last September.
