Jordin Sparks is happy with her health and 50-pound weight loss

Jordin Sparks is happy and healthy following her 50-pound weight loss. The 24-year-old American Idol winner spoke honestly about her weight in an interview Friday with the Today show. Sparks says she was initially inspired to get healthy after she got "really sick" a couple of years ago.
"I was like, 'I should be in the prime of my life right now. I shouldn't be feeling this,'" she recalls. Her illness spurred her to make her health a priority, and she changed her diet and became more active. "It does get a little crazy," the singer says of the pressure to be thin. "I think not succumbing to the pressure is harder than actually giving in to it." Sparks divulges that she currently weighs between "155 to 161." She says she was "comfortable" with how she looked before her 50-pound weight loss, and asserts "it wasn't about being a zero or a certain size of anything like that." "I know that there are some women who struggle to even look themselves in the mirror," she acknowledges. "And I hope that those women who are struggling can watch this and go, 'You know what? I'm OK with who I am. And I'm beautiful in my own way.'"

It's Cee Lo Green...

They forced the former Voice coach and "F**k You" singer to pass on his recording of Pharrell Williams "Happy" -- the song that got Meryl Streep to shimmy -- to focus on his own album. That's according to Williams himself, who was asked on Howard Stern's radio show if he would have "given this [song] to a Robin Thicke or someone?" "I actually did, [to] Cee Lo," Williams said. "He sounded amazing on it. I mean, he burns my version! "But the ... how do I say this diplomatically? Um ... he ... um ... The powers that be, at the time, did not see it fit for him. Some folks on his team just felt that the priority should be on [Cee Lo's] album at the time, so they elected not to do that song," he added.
Williams assured Stern that Green wasn't too upset about the "Happy's" eventual success. "It's not his fault -- he was totally down with it . [and] he was one of the most gracious people about it when [the song] came out."
