Ex-intern Sues Olsen Twins' Company For Unpaid Work...
Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen's profitable Dualstar Entertainment Group is being sued by about 40 former and current interns who claim they weren't paid for their work.

Lead plaintiff Shahista Lalani, a former design intern who worked under Olsen fashion label The Row's head technical designer in 2012, claims she experienced maltreatment during her five month, unpaid internship. A class-action lawsuit was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court accusing the company of wage theft.

"[The head technical designer] was very demanding," The New York Post reports Lalani said. "I was doing the work of three interns. I was talking to her all day, all night. e-mails at nighttime for the next day, like 10 p.m. at night."

Lalani, a Canadian native, says she put in roughly 50-hour weeks during her stint, doing various tasks ranging from data-entry to sewing, reports say.

"You're like an employee, except you're not getting paid," Lalani said. "They're kind of mean to you. Other interns have cried. I'd see a lot of kids crying doing coffee runs, photocopying stuff."

Although Lalani is suing the Olsens' company, she says she never worked directly with them, but saw them occasionally. "They're really nice people," she told New York Post. "They were never mean to anyone. They're business people."

Still, interns who worked for Dualstar were reportedly exempt from minimum-wage requirements and did not receive college credits for their work.

When approached with questions about the lawsuit, a Dualstar spokeswoman said the company was not yet aware and declined to comment on its intern program.

??? Guess Who ???

This funnyman who is noted for movies just landed a pilot that will air on Showtime...

Zac Efron May Join Dwayne Johnson in 'Baywatch'...
Zac Efron may join Dwayne Johnson on the beach in Baywatch.

The 27-year-old actor is reportedly in talks to portray a "young, rule-flouting hothead" lifeguard in the upcoming movie. The Hollywood Reporter reveals Efron will team up with Johnson's "by-the-book and very serious" character to fight an oil tycoon.

Johnson seemed to confirm Efron's casting Monday, tweeting, "BIG NEWS: Welcoming my dude @ZacEfron to #BAYWATCH. Our movie will be big, fun and RATED R.. Like me when I drink," and, "Me and bud @ZacEfron been talkin' bout this one for a long time. And someone get my baby oil."

Baywatch is based on the TV series of the same name, which had an 11-season run between 1989 and 2001. The show starred David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson and Erika Eleniak as Los Angeles County lifeguards, and inspired reunion movie Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.

The film is directed by Horrible Bosses helmer Seth Gordon, with San Andreas producer Beau Flynn and Ghostbusters producer Ivan Reitman as co-producers. Flynn previously collaborated with Johnson on such projects as San Andreas and Hercules.

Who You Gonna Call?... Bill Murray!...
Bill Murray will appear in the new, female-led Ghostbusters film.

The 64-year-old actor is confirmed to play an unspecified character in the upcoming reboot. Sources told Deadline the star recently "snuck" into Boston to film his scene for the movie.

Murray portrayed Dr. Peter Venkman in the 1984 film Ghostbusters, and reprised the character for the 1989 sequel Ghostbusters II. The actor has long been reluctant to star in a third movie, but showed his support for a female-led cast last year.

The forthcoming reboot is directed by Paul Feig, and stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. Murray and McCarthy previously collaborated on St. Vincent. Ghostbusters opens in theaters July 22, 2016.

Wiig, McCarthy, Jones and McKinnon are filming in Boston, and visited Tufts Medical Center in costume earlier this month. Murray last appeared in Aloha with Emma Stone, and is also scheduled for Rock the Kasbah with Kate Hudson.

??? Guess Who ???

The funnyman, noted for movies, who has just landed a pilot that will air on Showtime?

It's Jim Carrey... his hourlong drama covering Los Angeles' comedy scene in the 1970s -- I'm Dying Up Here --has landed a pilot order set to start filming in the fall.

According to several reports, Showtime announced the pickup during the Television Critics Association's summer press tour Tuesday.

I'm Dying Up Here is written and executive produced by former comedian Dave Flebotte (Will & Grace) with Carrey also executive producing. Endemol Shine Studios and Assembly Entertainment will produce the series.

Characterized as a "dark comedy," the program will be based on William Knoedelseder's 2009 nonfiction novel covering the era's comic community.

"The 1970s LA comedy scene gave rise to some of the biggest and most influential performers of the last half-century," Showtime president David Nevins said Tuesday according to The Wrap. "Who better than Jim Carrey and Dave Flebotte, who both were there, to tell the story of that special era along with the complicated and talented performers that dared to grab an open mic?"
