Here's the Scoop...

Ok... I have to admit that I was in bed by 9:00pm on New Year's Eve.

I guess that says one thing... I'm Getting Old! I was just so tired from doing inventory. It lasted longer than I had anticipated so I didn't get a nap like I had planned.

I have to say it was fantastic to get some sleep in. Overall I had a very restful few days and I feel like a new person!

That's one of my New Year's Resolution... to get more sleep every night. I want to get 6 to 7 hours in. Which is something I only seem to do on vacation.

The other resolution? Was to try and be more mindful of others and kinder.

Bike Accident May Keep Bono From Playing Guitar Again
U2 front man Bono fears he may never again play guitar after breaking his arm in six places in a November bicycle accident in New York.

Posting on his personal blog, the U2 singer described the events leading up to the accident as a last-minute fitness push meant to counterbalance increased alcohol consumption in celebration of his 50th birthday.

"On the day of my 50th birthday I received an injury because I was over indulging in exercise boxing and cycling, which was itself an overcompensation for overindulging on alcohol coming up to the big birthday," Bono admitted.

"I promised myself I would be more mindful of my limits, but just four years on, it happened again -- a massive injury I can't blame on anyone but myself, mainly because I blanked out on impact and have no memory of how I ended up in New York Presbyterian with my humerus bone sticking through my leather jacket. Very punk rock as injuries go."

Bono says he is committed to recovering in time for the start of U2's next tour, but confessed he fears he'll never be able to play guitar again.

"Recovery has been more difficult than I thought ... As I write this, it is not clear that I will ever play guitar again. The band have reminded me that neither they nor Western civilization are depending on this," he said.


Alec Baldwin's Wife Hilaria Is Pregnant With Their Second Child
Hilaria Baldwin, the wife of actor Alec Baldwin, has announced via Instagram she is pregant with their second child.

"The sun has set on 2014 and on my year of daily #hilariaypd ....2015 is going to be very exciting as we are thrilled to announce we are expecting another little addition to our family! (tadasana). #yogapostureoftheday," she posted Thursday morning.

The message appeared alongside a beautiful beach-set photo of a kneeling Alec holding their 16-month-old daughter Carmen as she touches the yoga teacher's baby bump. Two dogs also appear in the family photo.

Hilaria did not reveal the baby's gender or anticipated due date.

The couple have been married since 2012.

Alec, former star of TV's 30 Rock, also has a 19-year-old daughter Ireland with his ex-wife, actress Kim Basinger.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Marries Tasha McCauley
Joseph Gordon-Levitt has married his longtime girlfriend Tasha McCauley at their California home.

McCauley is the chief executive officer of Fellow Robots, a robotics company based at NASA Research Park in Silicon Valley, Calif.

People magazine reported Wednesday that the couple exchanged marriage vows Dec. 20. They have been dating since at least 2013.

No other details about their wedding were immediately available.

Gordon-Levitt is known for his work in the films Don Juan, The Dark Knight Rises, Looper and Inception, as well as on the TV show 3rd Rock From the Sun.


Joan Collins Named A Dame For Acting Career
Joan Collins was made a dame by Queen Elizabeth Tuesday night, along with fellow actors John Hurt and Kristen Scott Thomas, this year's new honorary dames and knights.

"When I first heard, I really couldn't quite believe it," Collins said according to Vouge.

The former Dynasty star was previously named a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1997, but that honor was bequeathed for Collins' charitable endeavors.

"Although quite a few people have been saying for some time maybe it was going to happen, I never ever believed it. But I'm, delirious, thrilled excited and very, very honored."

In addition to Collins, John Hurt was also knighted, along with Kristin Scott Thomas, while Emily Watson, James Corden and Sheridan Smith were named Officers of the Order of the British Empire. All told 1,251 people were recognized at the Royal Family's 2015 New Year Honors, 38 of whom were named knights.

It's Jamie Lynn Spears (sister is Britney)... The 23-year-old star broke up a fight last weekend in Hammond, La., according to TMZ.

Spears was on a late night snack run at a Pita Pit when someone attacked her friend by throwing a bottle. She pulled her companion to safety before picking up a bread knife and brandishing the blade to break up the fight.

The singer's acquaintance declined to press charges, so no arrests were made. Spears celebrated friend Brandi Smith-Mitchell's birthday earlier in the evening, but made no mention of the incident on social media.
