Popular men's site AskMen.com has polled its staff and 6 million
reader votes to compile the top 99 most desirable women of the
New Year. The site explains its simple criteria: "What does the
modern man look for in his ideal companion?"
Who made it to the top?
Actress and mom Jessica Alba took the #5 spot, model Alessandra
Ambrosio #4, actress Kate Beckinsdale #3, model Marisa Miller #2.=
The top lady? Entourage star Emmanuelle Chriqui!
Emmanuelle, whose parents emigrated to Canada from Morocco, said
of the honor, "It's not just about being 'hot' but about being a
well-rounded woman. That's really empowering!"
2009's winner, Eva Mendes, landed in ninth place.

Jeff Conaway Injured in Fall at Home...
Actor Jeff Conaway, who played Kenickie in the 1978 movie
Grease, was badly injured in a fall at his California home
on Monday, according to reports.
Jeff fell down a staircase and suffered a broken hip, a broken
arm, a fractured neck and a brain hemorrhage based on
information from his girlfriend, Vikki Lizzi.
He was rushed to hospital for surgery. No other details are
currently available.
Jeff has battled substance-abuse problems throughout his life.
He appeared on Celebrity Fit Club in 2006, but had to leave
due to a drug relapse.
He later appeared on two seasons of Celebrity Rehab with
Dr. Drew.

Sean Patrick Thomas, Wife Expecting Second Child...
Sean Patrick Thomas and wife Aonika Laurent are expanding
their family.
Aonika will deliver their second child early this summer.
"All is going well and they are due in June," says rep
Karen Samfilippo.
The new arrival will join big sister Lola Jolie, 20 months.
The couple, both 39, wed in New Orleans in 2006.
Sean, who is best known for his role opposite Julia Stiles
in Save the Last Dance, recently appeared on the FOX series
Lie to Me as a Secret Service agent.

Judge Refuses to Dismiss Letterman Extortion Case...
The CBS producer who is accused of trying to blackmail David
Letterman lost another battle in court.
A judge Tuesday refused to dismiss the criminal case against
Robert Halderman, who allegedly attempted to extort $2
million dollars from the talk show host in October with
incriminating details about his affairs with female staffers.
Robert had asked the judge to dismiss the case back in November.
His lawyer had said it was just a "hard-driven" business deal
to sell rights to a screenplay inspired by David's sexually-
charged workplace.
New York City Supreme Court Justice Charles Solomon ruled
against Robert's bid, adding that his conduct "is a classic
example of an issue that is best left for a trial jury
to decide."
Robert, could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted. He
and his lawyer declined to comment outside court.

Jake Kicks Out 'Bachelor' Contestant Before Rose Ceremony...
The drama continued on Monday's The Bachelor, where another
contestant was given the extra-early boot.
Bachelorette Michelle didn't even make it to the rose ceremony
for episode three. Unlike Rozlyn Papa, who departed after it
was revealed that she hooked up with one of the show's producers,
Michelle's offense was more benign: she didn't like how Jake
Pavelka kissed!
During a group date at a comedy club, Michelle confessed to
Jake that their chemistry was off. "I really want to stay,
Jake, I really do, I feel that we do have a connection, yet
to spend this time with you and not really be able to kiss
you, hurts me." Waffling about whether to remain on the show
or not, she added to Jake, "If you want me to stay, I will stay."
To her chagrin, Jake replied in the negative: "Michelle, I think
it would be better if you did leave," he said, quickly taking
her outside to catch a cab.
When the rose ceremony finally arrived, Jake chose to eliminate
Elizabeth, who Jake called the "queen of mixedsignals," and
Valishia, who quipped "I'm used to things not going my way."

John Travolta To Send Plane, Ministers, Supplies to Haiti...
John Travolta is lending a hand to Haiti.
The actor shared his plans to help victims of Tuesday's
devastating earthquake at Australia Week's LA Black Tie
Dinner. "I have arranged for a plane to take some some
volunteer ministers and some supplies and some medics,"
John said.
"My church has also arranged for 80 medicos and 33 volunteers
to go down," John added. Like friends Tom Cruise and Katie
Holmes, John and wife Kelly Preston belong to the Church
of Scientology.
"I hope that inspires others as well," he adds. "It's needed."

John joins a ballooning lists of stars aiding Haiti in its
greatest hour of need. Angelina Jolie are donating $1 million
to Doctors Without Borders; Madonna has pledged $250,000; Lance
Armstrong has given $1 million through his LiveStrong Foundation;

Yele Hait Earthquake Fund; and George Clooney will host a telethon
Jan. 22 on MTV to raise funds.

It's Katy Perry...
Katy and Russell have been dating ever since they ran into one
another at the event in September, and they recently sealed
their union by becoming engaged.
Katy has revealed the unusual technique which helped land her
man, and admits her aim was crucial to help break the ice.
She says, "I threw an empty water bottle at his head across
Radio City Music Hall at the VMAs and it hit him straight in
the head and I said 'Hiiiiiiii!!' And from then on it's
always been like 'Oh God...' So thanks, empty water bottle."
