What's Up...

America gets a lot of flak for a lot of things. We're too fat, too violent, and too politically unaware. An often-overlooked concern as a nation lies in our musical alignments - why does Justin Beiber capture the souls of young people when fantastic bands like Arctic Monkeys go unappreciated? Londoners get it - the band is one of the biggest things there. As one of the most energetic guitar-rock bands on the planet, these English lads have evolved since their 2002 debut with "I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor"

The heavily riffed songs from their earlier albums aren't as apparent anymore, and to tell you the truth the latest album, Suck It And See only had a few tunes that really had that power behind them. The rest have progressed over to 60s/70s sweet ballads. Lead singer Alex Turner's songwriting is still in tip top shape, but I really miss some heavier elements in their tunes.

Today's clip is "Don't Sit Down Cause I've Moved Your Chair" the first single from their latest album. It's definitely the hardest-hitting track they have right now, and has a nice psychedelic feel to the song and accompanying video.
