*** A WORD FROM THE KITCHEN ***

We put batteries in the "Billy Mouth Billy Bass" that's
been hanging around in the basement for about 10 years
and the kids have been jammin' to "Don't Worry be Happy"
coming from a rubber fish like it's a Jonas Brothers
concert. Oh how easily we're amused! Never gets old.
I can't that song out of my head now either..anyone
with me?

Before long we'll be loaded up with Thanksgiving recipes
thought I'd fill you in on a great appetizer that you
can put out and not mess with people's appetites too
much. Just slice and serve these cream cheese rollups
as needed and you can even play around the the stuffing
to your liking. In general this travels well for parties
so great for football season too.

RECIPE: TORTILLA CREAM CHEESE ROLLUPS

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*=

INGREDIENTS:
2 pkgs (8 ounces ea) of cream cheese; softened
1 dry packet of salad dressing mix, ranch flavor
1/2 cup red bell pepper; minced
1/4 cup onions, green; sliced
1/4 cup olives; sliced
4 10-inch Tortillas

DIRECTIONS:
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and dressing mix until
smooth. Add red pepper, celery, onions, and olives; mix
well. Spread about 3/4 cup of each tortilla. Roll up
tightly; wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2
hours. Slice into 1/2 inch pieces.

Yield: 15 Servings
