Greetings...

The yard renovation is almost complete. It was supposed to be done
on Saturday, but due to circumstances beyond the landscaper's control, =

it won't be finished until this Friday. On Friday, 5 tons of stone
will be delivered, which will finish the job...

I spent the weekend working in my yard also. I planted more flowers,
cleaned the patio furniture, power washed the patio, got sunburned,
Sprayed Miracle Gro on all the plants and flowers, got burned a little =

more, played with Moosie and Ginger in the yard by doing what they love=

most, getting sprayed with the hose...

Luckily, it was warm enough that we all dried off pretty quickly,
which caused me to...you got it, fry a little more...

I know, I know, sunblock Jamie, sunblock. I never remember and the
only sunblock I had was when I was on the ground planting flowers
and Moosie came over, stood over me and blocked out the sun momentarily..=

Unfortunately, I came down with some kind of rash all over my ankles,
legs, arms and hands which often happens when I work outside around
all the different plants. The other thing I noticed was that after
spraying Miracle Gro all over the place, my legs needed shaving!

I will take some pictures when it's all done and post some of them.
It will have to wait a little while because the next house "project"=

begins bright and early, Monday morning and will be finished, (hopefully)=

on Friday. The painting of the outside of the house, repairing the
block fence that two nameless pups destroyed, stucco repair from the
house settling and from the annoying Woodpecker-like birds, as well
as removing old window caulk and reapplying new caulk...

I dread this because it's always stressful for the poochies when
strangers are "touching their house" and preventing them from coming=

and going as they please. Heck, it's stressful on me too! Luckily,
Flyboy will be home while this is all going on. I sprung the painters
on him while he was still numb over the landscaping...

I still have a few more house projects that will be done over the
next few weeks. I'm trying to have it all done before it gets too
hot to care about anything, although...

Between the sunburn and the rash I have right now, I'm not as
enthusiastic as I was on Friday, and found myself wondering about
owning a home vs renting!

Nah, probably couldn't afford the rent once a landlord saw Moosie and
Ginger. Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to go apply every cream and
lotion known to man to everything that's fried, rashed and itchy...

On the bright side, it's taken my mind off my aching back...
