Greetings...

I don't intend to write much today because quite frankly, I'm filled
with so many emotions, some of which aren't too "nice" as I sit and
watch what is going on, not only in my country, but the world...

Tomorrow marks the anniverary of the attack on the Twin Towers and
most of us will take a moment or two and say a prayer for those who
lost their lives at the hands of men who, filled with so much hatred,
decided to take the lives of innocent people of every race and religion
and forever changing the world we live in since. Religious fanatics who
have been able to convince people that the brand of religion they follow
is "gospel", when in fact, it is an intentional distortion to instill
fear and control in not only innocent people of that faith who have
never harmed another human being, but groups of uneducated radical
Christians who seem to want to make this into the Holy War that the
other side of equally idiotic radicals scream for!

The lunatic Reverend Terry Jones in Florida, who is nothing but a
media whore, has shaken up not only the country, but the world with
his promise to honor September 11th with a "Burn the Koran" event...

The law protects him and it is his right to do it, but when a
supposed religious figure uses that law to instill hatred and
ramifications that, if done, will open a Pandora's box that we
have never seen, then I ask you...

Who is the terrorist?

He called the event off after making up a doozy of a story to keep
himself in the spotlight and when his lies were exposed, he went
back to his original plan and claims he may have the event afterall.
So, I ask you...

Which religious fanatic is holding the country and the world hostage?

We don't know if he will go through with it until Saturday...

One reader told me "enough" when I wrote my two articles on the
proposed Mosque in New York and then the troubling trend of anti-Muslim
sentiment spreading around the country...

Enough? Is this issue not important enough or am I taking people away
from their precious "Snookie and Lindsey Lohan" stories???

Sometimes, "fluff" stories are not only fun, but needed. That being said,
current events are important enough to discuss and I have always said,
you won't always like everything I have to say or write about and it is
your right to not read it and dump me in the recycle bin. I just happen
to love my country enough to be sickened at the direction it seems to
be headed because of a small percentage of loony tunes on EVERY side
of the arguments...

Hatred created the reason we remember September 11th, my wish is that
we can take the time to remember the victims and do what we can to
create an atmosphere of tolerance, understanding and unity against those
who will always be around to fuel hatred and bigotry...

My prayers go out to all of the victims of September 11th...

The sad thing is that we are all victims of that tragedy...
