Greetings...

The house painters are still here working on the house. They should
be done with the house sometime this afternoon, but will be here
until tomorrow afternoon...

Nah, it's not because they like being around us, it's because the
same thing that happens to me when I'm doing deep housecleaning
happened while having the house painted...

Once one thing is finished, you tend to see other things that need
attention. The block fence that they fixed turned out great, but
then while looking at the freshly painted house, the fence looked
"dingy" by comparison and that became their next project...

And, because there's such a thing as "Murphy's Law", Flyboy and I had=

to go buy a new refrigerator> Luckily, it wasn't the one in the kitchen,=

but the spare one in the laundry room that although pretty old, was
working like a charm until it started making some lound, "funky" nois=
es
a few days ago. I thought I fixed it by using an old technique taught
to me by my late father...

When an appliance makes noise, whack it a few times to make the noise
stop. It worked, for a few days at least. We wouldn't have known that
it bit the dust when we found out had Flyboy not gone to the freezer
to grab an ice cream bar and the package was nice and soft and pliable =

I knew something was wrong when he came out of the laundry room staring a=

I froze, (unlike the ice cream), and shuddered at the thought of opening=

The new fridge is being delivered on Friday and that means I have two =

days to take everything off the top of the fridge that has been there
for quite a while. I'm not looking forward to cleaning behind the
fridge. That's one of those things we all know we should do more often,=

but don't until someone is coming to the house with a delivery and we
rush around to make sure it's clean, so they don't think we're pigs... =


Moosie and Ginger aren't happy campers this week. They've been stuck
in the house more than they would like and because the painters are
petrified of them, potty breaks had to be done in seconds while they
waited on the other side of the gate. I don't blame them for being
afraid, most people that see the size of Danes rarely believe you when =

you tell them they are gentle, and because they have been barking at
them everytime they walk past the patio door, who could blame them for =

being afraid?

I, myself, will be glad when this is all over. It's tiring and stressful=

when this stuff is going on around the house and your routine is severly=

impacted, (as are the poochie's). Flyboy's routine has also been impacted=
...

He had to settle for one, one hour nap instead of two, two hour naps...=


Oh yeah, one more thing...

No, I'm not going to post pictures of my miracle gro legs. I wouldn't
subject any of you to that...
