Greetings...

We all had a good laugh over it and I packed it in my suitcase to
bring back home with me. Because it was so big, I actually used it
as a nightshirt and smiled almost everytime I looked at the picture
on the front until I realized it probably WOULD be me in the near
future...

A few years later, I met Flyboy and the rest is history as far as
the bag of bones on the park bench. By the time I met Flyboy, the
shirt was not only "broken in", but one of my favorite lounging
around shirts. Nice and soft, baggy and unconstricting, and still
good for a laugh...

About a year ago, the shirt definitely started showing signs of
wear and tear and I do mean "tear". Small holes started to appear =

I got another year out of my friend and unfortunately, had to make the =

sad and distressing decision to put it out of its misery yesterday.
Flyboy was out of town, I wore it, threw it in the washer and dryer
and when I went to fold it, my fingernails actually went THROUGH the
neckline...

I knew what I had to do, but didn't do it at that time. I waited until =

Flyboy got home this morning and waited until I thought he would be
too tired to jump for joy...

I brought out my trusted friend and with a tear in my eye, I told him =

it was "time". I took one last look at it and threw it in the garbage=

can. Flyboy got up and walked over to the can and for a minute,
I thought he might pull it out and "save" it for me...

Nah...

He grabbed the bag out of the garbage can and took it straight to the
big can outside so I wouldn't change my mind...Sheesh, such trust!

So, tell me if you have ever had a hard time getting rid of something =

as stupid as a T-shirt and felt actual remorse and sadness at it's
demise?

I wonder if they have a "Rainbow Bridge" for old clothing...sniff, sn=
iff...
