Greetings...

No, it's not your imagination, I have been "missing" since my Cable/
Internet problems began. I'm happy to report, all is now right in the
world and the problem was fixed. In areas that get snow and freezing
temperatures, the cold can sometimes cause cable lines to crack. Here,
in Arizona, the heat can and does cause our cable problems from time to
time. The connector outside that supplied the signal to the house, literally
"melted" after being out there since we moved in our house...


So what's been going on since we last met? My poor kid Dizzy, came down
with Shingles. Most of you may or may not remember my mom has been suffering
with the effects of Shingles for over a year, and although better, still
has the pain off and on. He came down with Shingles four days ago and
is on medication that will hopefully help him through it faster than
my mom. He and his wife moved into their Condo last week and if Shingles
is brought on by stress, I don't think there is anything more stressful
than moving!


Flyboy, on the other hand, came down with a case of Conjunctivitis after
having to work six straight days, longer than usual hours, and being
around thousands of people who still don't know how to cover their mouths
when they cough or sneeze! He went to the doctor, got medication and is
home for a few days before he goes back to work. He has another week
of vacation next week...


Other than that, the pups and I are patiently waiting for the heat of
Summer to leave, even though they so enjoy their morning "splash me
Mama" game with the hose and the cooled off free for all run afterwards...


Plenty of news stories have generated interest and opinions in the week
I've been gone and I'm sure I'll cover one or two of them in the near
future...
