The Reverend Al Sharpton came to Phoenix and organized a march by the
Capital building to show his support and outrage at the passage of the =

new law...

Reverend Al hasn't had a good cause to support in a few months and needs=

to support causes to remind people he is still around fighting for the =

good of < insert cause of the week>...

Tourism is a major source of income to Arizona given our weather,
location, sports venues, and Golf resorts. Companies are cancelling
events in Arizona to show support for the boycotts called for by the
Latino population. Arizona could possibly lose millions within five
years should this continue...

The good news for the supporters cancelling their trips to Arizona is
that they will be safe from the Mexican drug lords that freely move in =

and out of the state...

Trying to destroy the economy of ANY state sure is an "American" thin=

to do to teach "us" a lesson. It has taught me one...

We're being blackmailed! Bend to the will of people who are supporting=

ILLEGAL activity or pay the price! The United States has a policy of =

never negotiating with Terrorists because to do so is to lose any chance=

of true success. The same goes for blackmail. Pay a blackmailer and you=

will never be free of their demands...

The fact that the polls STILL show 70% of Arizonans are in full support=

of this new law says WE know what is best for our state and how dare
other states try to dictate rules that are based in ignorance of the
true facts or unwillingness to accept it for personal gains...

Go ahead, ruin Arizona's economy and create hardship on people who are =

hard-working, LEGAL citizens of the United States of America. Go right =

ahead and force businesses to lay off people due to a lack of bookings.=

Legal citizens deserve to lose their jobs, homes, and cut back on feeding=

their families. The government will take care of them and we can ask
some of the illegals how to work the system to make sure we get what we=

deserve...

Shame on those who don't see this for what it is!!!

Fear tactics are being used on us in Arizona and the fear now is economic=

threats. Fear sells, just ask the last President...

When a small group of high school kids got suspended for going to school=

on Cinco De Mayo wearing T-shirts with the American flag on the front. =

They were sent to the office and told to turn their shirts inside out or=

remove them. They refused to do either one and felt turning the shirts =

inside out would be disrespectful to the flag. They were suspended...

Why were they asked to do this?

Because Hispanic kids were celebrating Cinco De Mayo and allowed to wear=

the colors of Mexico, which they are allowed to do every year. The
principle, Mr. Rodriguez, felt their shirts might cause a "problem"..=
.

Excuse me? What is wrong with this picture???

I realize I sound racist with today's column, but I resent ANY group of=

people, no matter what ethnic background they may be, thinking that an =

illegal activity should be ignored and use racism as the buzzword to
stir the country up...

No one talks about the reverse racism that goes on. No one talks about =

the horrible names being shouted and why is that? Because you can't
call non-Hispanic people racist names in Spanish????

The sad thing is that people who support this gutsy move by our Governor=

are attacked when they try to show support for the new law. Police were=

pummeled with water bottles by angry Hispanics when they were escorting=

supporters of the law out of harm's way...

Yessiree, let's just make everything legal, including beating the crap =

out of people who are voicing their freedom of speech which has been
given to you as shown by your signs, rallies, and flags, flown high
above the American flag...

Arizonans, hang tough! I can only hope that people living all over the=

country, who fully support what we are trying to do down here may think=

about showing their support by coming TO Arizona. I don't expect the
"big guy", ie. corporations and companies that have already buckled t=
o
the threats thrown at them to stop the cancellations, but I hope
that someone out there "wakes up" and sees that boycotts and blackmai=
l
are purely...
