Here's the Scoop....
Something set off Lindsay Lohan's alcohol-monitoring bracelet,
and that set off a judge!
An arrest warrant was issued Tuesday for the actress by the
same Los Angeles judge who earlier issued a warrant when she
failed to show up to court.
Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel found Lindsay violated the
terms of her bail and upped her bail to $200,000. A bond was
later posted and the warrant was quashed. A hearing takes
place next month.
A source close to the case reveals the court-ordered alcohol-
monitoring bracelet, called a SCRAM device, was triggered
Sunday evening during an MTV Movie Awards after-party.

Another Gore Split: Daughter Karenna...
One week after former Vice President Al Gore and his wife dropped
their separation bombshell, friends of the family quietly
confirmed that the eldest of the couple's four children, daughter
Karenna Gore Schiff, is separated from her husband of 12 years.
Karenna, 36, and Andrew "Drew" Schiff, 44, "have been separated
=
for a couple of months and in marriage counseling," says a friend
of the couple, who live in New York and have three small children:
Wyatt, 10; Anna, 8; and Oscar, 3. Another friend of the Gore
family said of the split, "It's amicable and they are in
counseling. They are not divorced."
Kalee Kreider, a spokeswoman for the former vice president, said
only: "Neither the Gores nor the Schiffs plan to comment." But
the two friends who commented said they wanted to be frank about
the state of the Schiffs' marriage to head off any misinformation
or rumor-mongering as people scrounge around the Gore family's
private life.
"People are looking for reasons and there's a lot of psychoanalysis
of the Gores," said the friend of the Schiffs.
Drew, a medical doctor, works for biotech investment firm Aisling
Capital, while Karenna, a lawyer by training, is collaborating on
a documentary about inspirational women in history and volunteering
at a legal aid clinic for domestic violence victims. "But mostly,
she's being a mom," said the Gore friend. And, evidently, one who's
=
being helped through this rough patch by her parents, however
estranged they might be. "Both Al and Tipper have been to New York
to help Karenna with the kids since her separation," says the Gore
friend. "Like all families, they rally."
Al Gore, meanwhile, is in the Philippines and still wearing his
wedding ring, according to local news reports. ABS-CBN News says
the former vice president and environmental activist was asked at
a climate-change forum in Pasay City to comment on all the recent
talk of his personal life. To applause from the audience, Gore
replied simply: "No. I don't do that."

Rihanna: Relationship with Boyfriend Matt Kemp Is So Easy...
In the midst of Rihanna's crazy life, boyfriend Matt Kemp
provides an oasis of calm.
"I'm so happy. I feel really comfortable, and it's so easy,"
the pop star says of her relationship with the Los Angeles
Dodgers outfielder.
With all the demands made of the young singer in her already-
megawatt career, Rihanna says it's nice to have someone to
mellow out with. "I have such a chaotic life, but at the end
of the day, that is just my peace," she says. "It keeps me
sane, really, talking to him and talking to my family."
The two were introduced through friends last November, and by
early January were vacationing together in Mexico. In April,
Rihanna said the relationship was "nothing too serious," and
added: "I just want to have fun, and that's what it's about."
Rihanna also looks back at her time with Chris Brown, a
relationship that was the opposite of calm at times, and
ended after he assaulted her in February 2009.
"A year ago, I was very confused," she says. "Because he was
my best friend. All of a sudden, one night changed our whole
lives, not only our friendship, but our lives."
But she has no regrets about moving on. "I wanted to wake up
one day and just not have that pain anymore," she says. "I
wanted to be with him again or get over him ? it was either-
or. I just didn't want to feel the pain, the confusion."

Shania Twain Is Officially Divorced ? and 'Radiantly Happy'...
Two years after getting her heart broken by her husband's
relationship with her best friend, Shania Twain is legally
single again, which is not to say she's back on the market.
Even as her divorce from Robert "Mutt" Lange was quietly being
finalized in Switzerland, Shania was looking like a woman in
love at the Swiss Red Cross Ball on May 29. Dancing the
night away with Frédéric Thiébaud (the other woman's ex-husband), =
"she was radiantly happy," says a source close to her.
"Her happiness certainly shone through," says her friend Stéphane =
Lagonico, an ambassador for the Swiss Red Cross, who organized the
ball. "They are a great addition to each other's lives."
With the divorce final this week, according to documents filed in
Switzerland, Shania is moving on with her life. She's prepping to
shoot Why Not? With Shania Twain, her series on the Oprah Winfrey
Network, amid speculation that American Idol is courting her to be
a judge after her successful stint as a mentor this season.
And Thiébaud is firmly at her side through all of it. "Shania and
=
Fred are a couple that fit together," says a friend. Adds the
source close to her: "Things are getting really serious with Fred." =

Fifty days into the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, and with no
successful attempts to stop it just yet, this actor
visited Washington on Wednesday to offer up what he called
a "partial solution to the tragedy unfolding in the Gulf."
It's Kevin Costner...
"We are all at fault here. It's just too easy to blame BP,"
Kevin said at a Congressional hearing. "What we need to do
now is come together."
Telling the House Energy and Environment Subcommittee he was
testifying as a "discouraged U.S. citizen and entrepreneur,"
Kevin said his business venture, Ocean Therapy Solutions,
had developed a machine which could help with the cleanup.
The device, he said, has purifiers that filter oil from water
by using centrifugal forces to separate the dirty particles.
Though Kevin acknowledged his machine could not alleviate the
entire oil spill problem, he said it should be considered for
other smaller spills that occur every year and that "there has
to be responsible action at this moment."
"What I can provide is a technology that is available
immediately, a technology that will allow rigs to resume
operation and put people back to work," he said. Kevin
reportedly invested $26 million in the device.
Kevin is the latest celebrity lending a hand to help with
the oil spill. Director James Cameron, an ocean-technology
buff, met with scientists and other experts last week in
Washington to come up with possible fixes for the leak.
James Cameron also had reportedly contacted BP offering use
of his private fleet of deep-dive craft.
