Here's the Scoop...

Why is it that celebrities say that they want to be treated like regular people, and when they are treated like regular people they have the tendency to lose their minds and go berserk on social media?

This time I'm talking about you Andie MacDowell; the star of today's first story. How was your flight?

Be Well,
Steve

Andie MacDowell says she has learned to 'never complain on Twitter' after flight flap
Actress Andie MacDowell says she doesn't mind sitting in the coach section of a plane, but when she buys a first-class ticket that is where she wants to be.

MacDowell ignited a social-media firestorm when she complained during the weekend that American Airlines had bumped her from first class to the less-luxurious coach cabin on a flight. While some Twitter users defended her, others called her out for seeming elitist.

"Oh! Poor baby. Forced to sit with the unwashed masses," Twitter user Jim Collins chided, for instance.

But the Magic Mike XXL, Four Weddings and a Funeral and Groundhog Day star responded to criticism that she sounded privileged by tweeting: "I'm very happy flying in coach I'm happy on a bus or the subway but if I play for first class, that's where I want to be, that was the point."

"Lessons learned never complain on Twitter & don't pay for first class on American Airlines, only express gratitude...can we move on now."

LOOSE LIPS:
"I heard from my agent, who had spoken to his agent, that he was legitimately scared of me. Every time I was around him it was right before we started shooting, so I would be all over him and I think I really freaked him out."
--Aubrey Plaza, on making Robert De Niro uncomfortable while playing his (much younger) love interest in Dirty Grandpa on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Which Oscar-nominated actor lost his wallet during the NYC blizzard and got it back after a plea on Twitter?

Chris Rock will not back out of hosting the Oscars, says producer
Academy Awards ceremony producer Reginald Hudlin says Chris Rock will not bow out of hosting the Oscars to protest the lack of diversity among the Oscar nominees, but will instead use the show as a platform to address the issue.

Hollywood couple Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith, and filmmaker Spike Lee have said they will not attend the gala, which honors excellence in film, because no people of color were nominated in the acting categories for a second year.

Many academy members, critics and journalists have defended the all-white choices, however, arguing the selections had nothing to do with race and saying 2015 was a competitive year for films and artists, with white actors Johnny Depp and Michael Keaton, writer Aaron Sorkin and directors Ridley Scott and Steven Spielberg alongside black actors Idris Elba, Will Smith and Michael B. Jordan on the list of surprising omissions.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which bestows the Oscars, responded to the backlash against the nominations by revamping its membership and governing rules in an effort to increase diversity for future competitions.

Hudlin told Entertainment Tonight Rock finished writing his monologue for the Oscars ceremony a week ago, but started working on a new script as the controversy picked up steam and some protesters urged him to walk away from the job.

"Chris is hard at work. He and his writing staff locked themselves in a room," Hudlin said.

"As things got a little provocative and exciting, he said, 'I'm throwing out the show I wrote and writing a new show,'" Hudlin recalled. "Chris is that thorough. He's that brilliant, and I have 1000 percent confidence that he will deliver something that people will be talking about for weeks."

Rock has not yet publicly spoken out about the debate other than to tweet alongside an Oscars promo:

"The #Oscars. The White BET Awards."

Which Oscar-nominated actor lost his wallet during the NYC blizzard and got it back after a plea on Twitter?

Mark Ruffalo asked his Twitter followers to help him find his lost wallet and phone this weekend and miraculously had them returned.

"Wow, thanks for all the tips and help for my lost phone... really appreciated," read another post, which was followed by: "OMG It was just found! That was freaking fast. Thanks for helping me find it!!"

The final update captioned a photo of Ruffalo smiling with two little girls. It said: "Thank Amenaide and Catherine Brown for finding my Phone and wallet! Thanks Brown family for your decency."
