Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Psalm 23:6

And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

This scripture gives me such joyful hope and peace! Just think, we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever! It makes it easier to understand how Paul could say in Philippians 1:21, "For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain." He goes on to say, (in Philippians 1:23), "For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better..." We will dwell with Him forever! Hallelujah!

God Bless You!

--FEATURED FUNNY:

As a high school football coach, I'm know that student athletes tend to focus too much on sports. Bob, a fellow coach, was talking about one such player, who called him at home one night.

When his wife informed the kid that Bob wasn't home, he became frantic and said he had to speak to the coach right away.

"Just calm down, and I'll have him call you as soon as he gets home," the coach's wife told him. "What's your number?"

The flustered kid replied, "Three."

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. Why did Saul wish the armorbearer to kill him?

A. He did not want the Philistines to thrust him through with the sword and abuse him.

1 Samuel 31:4

Then Saul said to his armorbearer, "Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised men come and thrust me through and abuse me."
