'Good Morning America' star Amy Robach has breast cancer

"Good Morning America" correspondent Amy Robach announced Monday she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and plans to have a double mastectomy. Robach underwent an on-air mammogram screening last month as part of the morning program's "October Pink Initiative" to raise awareness about the importance of the early detection of breast cancer, People.com said. "I was a little reluctant at first," Robach told "GMA" co-anchor Robin Roberts, a breast cancer survivor. "I'm 40, I'm the age and I've been putting it off." Robach, who has no family history of the disease, said after the initial on-air mammogram, doctors followed up with additional tests and last week informed her she has breast cancer. "It's still hard for me to say the words out loud. I have breast cancer," Robach said. "Telling my children was the toughest part," she said. "But that's when you get strong, because you have to be strong for other people. I'm so grateful that I got the mammogram that day. Robin's words still echo inside of me. 'If I got the mammogram on-air and saved one life then it's all worth it,' she had said. It never occurred to me that that life would be mine."

Lorre then hired Ashton Kutcher to star in "Men," while Sheen went on to headline the small-screen version of the film, "Anger Management." "Hey Chuck. I have an idea that u need to hear after I make amends to you and yours. Which I will do in person. xox c," Sheen tweeted Sunday, alongside a photo of the People's Choice Award their sitcom won in 2007 for Favorite TV Comedy. E! News said Lorre and Warner Bros., which produces "Men," have yet to comment on Sheen's message.

Beyonce wouldn't audition for 'Princess and the Frog,' report says

Hollywood casting director Jen Rudin says pop star Beyonce refused to audition for the lead in the animated movie "The Princess and the Frog." Rudin recalled the incident in an interview with the New York Post to promote her book, "Confessions of a Casting Director," which is to be published next month. "Beyonce expected an offer but wouldn't audition and so she didn't get one," Rudin told the Post. "Tyra Banks, Jennifer Hudson wanted it. Alicia Keys auditioned three times... They had to sing, so we made it clear they needed sheet music. Tyra came in with a CD, but it didn't matter because she was so pretty and nice. It went to Anika Noni Rose, who was the most qualified."

Actress Elizabeth Berkley was eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles Monday night. "I'm sad.
