Amanda Bynes Apologizes, Says She's Trying to Get Getter
It's heartbreaking how Amanda Bynes has tumbled in the last few years. She's in the news again this time for apologizing for making alarming remarks about wanting to harm her parents and insists she is trying her best to get better.

At just 28, she has been hospitalized several times for what she has said is a bipolar disorder.

Amanda issued a statement to Access Hollywood, through her lawyer David Esquibias after a private recording made by a former roommate last week was posted online. Amanda can be heard ranting on the audio and saying about her father, "Nothing would give me greater pleasure than slitting his throat."

"I'm sorry I trusted people who clearly were not my friends and capitalized on my illness. I am doing my best to get better. I am truly sorry for the statements I made. I am sorry for any pain I caused my family and others," She said in Saturday's statement.

Let's hope she does get better...

Everyone's Been Asking... "Where's Richard Simmons?"
Richard Simmons has been the subject of many rumors ranging from he's gained a lot of weight to he's gravely ill. His publicist has come forward to dispute these reports.

"In terms of him being out and about, he's going out. If he needs to wear a disguise, he'll wear a disguise. When you're Richard Simmons, it's not easy to get away with anonymity," Simmons' spokesman Thomas Estey told the New York Daily News.

He's presently at the same weight he was when he released his first Sweatin' to the Oldies video," Estey added. "The truth is very simple, he has a knee injury, and it's serious enough to keep him from doing what he loves most: exercising and motivating others. He is not clinically depressed or a shut-in or a recluse."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck Says She Had A Benign Tumor Removed From Her Abdomen
Television personality Elisabeth Hasselbeck says she underwent surgery to remove a benign tumor from her abdomen in October.

She has been off the air for a month, while she dealt with the health issue, the nature of which she did not reveal until she returned to work Friday.

"I'm so glad and thankful to be back with all of you," Hasselbeck said on the Fox News Channel program.

"I had a bit of a scare," continued the 37-year-old mother of three children. "I had a tumor in my abdomen. Doctor said: 'Look, you've got to get it out by the end of the month. We don't like how it looks.' I was facing something that potentially could have gone either way. I did what they said. I had a phenomenal surgeon and I really had a scary week where we didn't know what the results were, but I'm OK. ... Thankfully, I had the blessing of it not being cancer."

Hasselbeck is a former co-host of ABC's The View.

Reality television star Kendall Jenner is the new face of Estee Lauder.

"Fashion muse, It Girl, Instagram sensation, cover star... and now our new model," the beauty giant announced on its website.

"To think back to me being a young kid, going through my mom's makeup drawer, playing with Estee Lauder and then flip to now and I'm a part of this family. I feel like I'm more honored to be a part of something with such amazing names involved. It's something that I didn't really expect to happen so quickly. It's so crazy. ... I just want to be the best me I can be."

Kendall is the daughter of Bruce and Kris Jenner, and the half-sister of Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian.

'The Millers' Canceled by CBS Shortly After Starting Second Season
This was a bit of a shocker... The sitcom The Millers has been canceled by CBS in its second season due to low ratings.

The Monday night show is about a divorced television news reporter caught between his bickering parents. It co-stars Beau Bridges, Margo Martindale, J.B. Smoove, Jayma Mays and Sean Hayes.

One more episode of the series is being taped, but then production will be shut down. It is unclear if and when the other produced episodes will air.

Other comedy series canceled this season include Bad Judge, A to Z, Selfie and Manhattan Love Story.

Alyssa Milano wonders why she has been criticized for posting selfies as she breastfeeds her new baby while the world is going bonkers over Kim Kardashian's nudes.

The 41-year-old mother of two had a bouncing baby girl two months ago with husband David Bugliari. When she showed off shots of her breastfeeding Elizabella Dylan on social media she was hit with nasty comments about how disgusting it was.

After Kardashian's nude photos on Paper magazine blew up the Internet, Milano wonders: "No disrespect to Kim but... people are offended by my breastfeeding selfies and are fine with her booty cover?" Wait! I don't get it.

To underscore that she holds no ill will toward Kim and is just as amazed by the photos -- and a particular body part -- as everyone else ... she tweets: "I mean it really is ... unbelievable."

Jamie-Lynn Sigler's (Soprano's Star) Brother Dead After Brain Hemorrhage
Adam Sigler died at age 41 on Wednesday. The stockbroker was the eldest brother of The Sopranos actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler, and slipped into a coma after having a brain hemorrhage last week. Sigler was reportedly in good health prior to the hemorrhage, and had no signs of a predisposed condition.

"Words cannot express how deeply saddened we are by the sudden loss of Adam Sigler," a rep for Jamie-Lynn said in a statement to People. "He brought love and joy to everyone around him especially his family, who were by his side when he passed. Adam will continue to be a source of strength and inspiration."

The singer who ignored Bob Geldof's phone calls about Band Aid 30 session?

It's Adele... Bob says Adele ignored his phone calls about taking part in this weekend's Band Aid 30 recording of "Do They Know It's Christmas?"

"Adele is doing nothing. She's not answering the phone," Geldof told Britain's The Sun newspaper for Sunday's edition.

"She's not writing. She's not recording. She doesn't want to be bothered by anyone. She won't pick up the phone to her manager. She's bringing up a family, you know," he added. "Some people just don't want to do it... Of course, they agree with it, but it's not their way of doing something."

Adele's representative denied the singer avoided Geldof or giving him an answer about the project, which was orchestrated to raise money for people impacted by the Ebola virus and recorded Saturday in London.

"Bob and the organizers spoke directly with her management, but, at no point, was she confirmed. Adele is supporting Oxfam's Ebola Appeal with a donation," Adele's publicist told the newspaper.
