Alec Baldwin arrested after riding bike wrong way down one-way street

Actor Alec Baldwin was arrested Tuesday morning after allegedly riding his bicycle the wrong way down a one-way street, then verbally abusing two female officers who stopped him. The former 30 Rock star, 56, was handcuffed and brought to Manhattan's 13th Precinct station house after he failed to present the policewomen with his identification. A warrant check was conducted and a summons issued. "Alec was riding his bicycle the wrong way on Fifth Avenue this morning and, when he was stopped by police, he didn't have ID, so he was handcuffed and arrested. It is not known where he is now or if he is still in police custody," a source told the New York Post. InTouch Weekly published a photo of the incident, showing a handcuffed Baldwin being helped into a police cruiser. Baldwin's publicist has not yet addressed the incident. This is not the first time Baldwin's hot temper has gotten him in trouble. The Emmy Award-winning actor was fired from his MSNBC talk show last year, reportedly as the result of behavior issues in the studio, including his attitude toward co-workers, as well as for a high-profile incident in which he hurled a gay slur at a photographer he said was harassing him on a Manhattan street.

Beyonce's sister Solange's attack on Jay Z is not her first outburst

A day after TMZ unveiled a video of Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles furiously attacking rapper Jay Z, sources have come forward to claim this isn't the first time Knowles throws a fit of the sort. "Solange has flipped her lid like that before," an insider told Us Weekly. "She is genuinely a sweet and nice person but she also keeps [expletive] real. She can take a small thing and it triggers her." While there are many theories -- and a Twitter hashtag -- attempting to explain what prompted the 27-year-old singer to attack her brother in law in an elevator after the Met gala on May 5, sources close to the situation say it might have been related to a discussion between Knowles and designer Rachel Roy that took place earlier at the after party. "This is not the first time this has happened," the source said about the elevator incident. "That's why Bey and Jay were so calm. They are used to this from Solange. It has definitely happened before." The source went on to say that Beyonce's reaction was a "testament to [her] calm nature."
"[Beyonce] doesn't approve of violence," the source continued, adding that the trio are "trying to put the situation past them now." While neither Jay Z, Beyonce or Solange have addressed the incident thus far, the couple seemed unfazed by the media scrutiny as they stepped out to watch a Brooklyn Nets game Monday night.

Lionel Richie's son gets Kylie Jenner's initials tattooed on his hand

Reality TV personality Kylie Jenner helped a tattoo artist ink her initials on the hand of Lionel Richie's 19-year-old son, Miles, at a Hollywood recording studio last weekend. Celebrity tattoo artist John Petro reportedly allowed Jenner, 16, to place her gloved hands on top of his as he administered Richie's tattoo. Witnessing the event were Jenner's half-sister Khloe Kardashian, as well as their friends French Montana and Mally Mall. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health said only people 18 and older can legally participate in the process of administering a tattoo. Should authorities pursue the matter, Jenner could be charged with a misdemeanor and fined, while Petro could have his license suspended.

Paul Walker car crash is the subject of a lawsuit against Porsche

The widow of the driver in the fiery car crash that also killed actor Paul Walker last year is suing Porsche Cars North America for negligence, wrongful death and product liability. Officials determined the cause of the crash that killed Walker and Roger Rodas was the high rate of speed Rodas was driving the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT when he slammed into a light post on a street in Santa Clarita, Calif. However, Rodas' wife Kristine filed documents in Los Angeles County Superior Court Monday, claiming faulty mechanics and a lack of safety features were to blame for the men's deaths. "The Carrera GT was unsafe for its intended use by reason of defects in its manufacture, design, testing, component and constituents, so that it would not safely serve its purpose," the lawsuit said.
Kristine Rodas is suing for unspecified damages and has requested a jury trial. Walker was best known for his work in the Fast and the Furious car-racing film franchise.

It's Carrie Fisher...

Debbie Reynolds says daughter has lost 40 pounds, looks terrific

Debbie Reynolds says her daughter -- actress and author Carrie Fisher -- has lost 40 pounds in preparation for her role in Star Wars: Episode VII. "She's very excited about it," Reynolds told TV's Extra. "She's been on a diet ever since [she was cast in the film] because, you know, they have to be up to par, so she looks terrific. She's lost 40 pounds. She's very excited, as we all are, because we all love Star Wars." Fisher, 57, will be reprising her role of Princess Leia in the film, which will reunite her with her former Star Wars co-stars Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill, who will once again play Han Solo and Luke Skywalker in the space epic. The movie is set for release in December 2015.
