Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner confirm they will divorce
Ben Affleck and wife Jennifer Garner are headed for divorce.
The 42-year-old actor and 43-year-old actress confirmed as much in a joint statement Tuesday following months of speculation about the status of their relationship.
"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce," the couple said. "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time."
Affleck and Garner married in June 2005, and are parents to nine-year-old daughter Violet, six-year-old daughter Sera and three-year-old son Sam. Sources told TMZ the pair will officially file for divorce after they resolve all property and custody issues.
Rumors of a split have been swirling for months, and an insider told FOX411 this week the couple have been living apart for some time. The family was last spotted together on June 14, a month after Affleck was seen without his wedding band on a solo trip.
Affleck and Garner co-starred in Pearl Harbor (2001) and Daredevil (2003), and started dating in 2004. The actor will portray Batman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, while Garner is scheduled for Miracles From Heaven with Martin Henderson and Nine Lives with Kevin Spacey.
Rocky Balboa returns in 'Creed' spin-off film
In 2006, Rocky Balboa was sent off in what was thought to be the final picture of the franchise, but Warner Brothers has just released a trailer for Creed.
Creed brings fans back to Philadelphia, and introduces them to the son of Apollo Creed, Adonis. The film is a spin off of the original franchise focusing on Adonis and his career. Apollo Creed had been Rocky's opponent in Rocky I and II, the two characters would later become friends and allies in Rocky III and IV.
Adonis Creed much like his father is a boxer, though in the trailer he is told that unlike others he hasn't had to work as hard due to his namesake. Creed seeks out Balboa and the two meet in the ex-boxer's restaurant before it cuts to a montage of training and personal moments.
Creed deals with Adonis' battle in and out of the ring and the anger he face over losing his dad when he was younger. Entertainment Weekly reported that Michael B. Jordan will be playing Adonis and the film is directed by Ryan Coogler who has worked with Jordan in the past.
Creed fits right into the Rocky franchise and sticks to the original characters while still bringing it's own spin to the story. Creed is due to be out in theaters on Nov. 25, 2015.

TV Land pulls 'Dukes of Hazzard' from schedule
TV Land has pulled Dukes of Hazzard reruns from its schedule.
The network didn't say why it was pulling the show, which features a 1969 Dodge Charger with a Confederate flag painted on its roof. The flag has come under increased criticism as a symbol of racism after the fatal shooting of nine black worshipers at a Charleston, S.C., church.
Last week, Warner Bros. said it would no longer license toys or models of the car, known as the General Lee, driven by the Duke cousins in the 1980s show.
Ben Jones, who played Cooter on the show, came out in defense of the Confederate flag. Fans have rallied and created a petition on change.org asking Viacom, Warner Bros., eBay and Walmart to "stop banning" the popular show.
Reruns can still be streamed online or viewed on CMT.
