Galatians 6:9

And let us not grow weary while doing good.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

It is often easy to start out 'doing good.' We get excited about a new project or ministry, and adrenaline alone keeps us motivated. But after months and months of what is seemingly the 'old grind' people get weather worn. The "Merry Maids Ministry" or "Visiting the sick Ministry" can get to be a chore--something we do not look forward to anymore. It is up to you to keep the spark alive within yourself! Read uplifting scriptures and pray before you set out to serve others. Listen to uplifting praise music, or call a friend who can build you up in your most holy faith!

TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

If worship does not change us, it has not been worship. To stand before the Holy One of eternity is to change. Worship begins in holy expectancy; it ends in holy obedience.

FEATURED FUNNY:

A Sunday school teacher asked her class, "What was Jesus' mother's name?"

One child answered, "Mary."

The teacher then asked, "Who knows what Jesus' father's name was?"

A little child said, "Verge."

Confused, the teacher asked, "Where did you get that?"

The child replied, "Well, you know, they are always talking about Verge n' Mary.''

A. Your silver and your gold are mine; your loveliest wives and children are mine.

1 Kings 20:1-3

And he went up and besieged Samaria, and made war against it. Then he sent messengers into the city to Ahab king of Israel, and said to him, "Thus says Ben-Hadad: 'Your silver and your gold are mine; your loveliest wives and children are mine.'"
