Hello Everyone...

I was a little stressed this week, because I had NO idea what song to showcase today. I threw on Pandora like I often do to get some ideas, and The Cure came up with their megahit, Lovesong. I've always loved the song itself, and then I remembered a few weeks ago hearing Adele covering the song on the radio. I know it's old, but I don't listen to those SiriusXM stations very often, (I stick to 4 or 5 stations and NPR like a total nerd) I didn't catch the whole song, but I always meant to really dive into it. From what I've heard it was great.

Well I searched YouTube for a live version, and I have to say - Adele rocks. Listening to her soulful singing on the studio recorded version would normally make me super skeptical to listen to her live, but boy does she deliver. It's almost perfect, I can't spot any glaring flaws - she sounds so great, and transformed a classic into something really beautiful. After listening to it once, you might not even realize that there are only a few lines repeated over and over throughout, but she sings each line with its own special sound, so you forget about the others. It's hard to explain, so see for yourself.

Oh, and if anyone had any problems viewing last week's video, be sure to check it out a little further down in this issue. There were some big errors on EVTV1 which have been fixed, so hopefully it's smooth sailing from here on out.
