Animation has come a long way from Steamboat Willie. Thanks to computers even small studios can create incredible effects like in this completely charming vignette...charming as long as you don't consider the mass murder that occurs at the end of the story.

A tale of momentum and inertia

Portland-based animation studio HouseSpecial tells the tale of a giant rock titan, who tries his best to stop an avalanche of boulders from crushing a small coastal village. While he means well, things don't exactly go that way for him or the village.
