Honey Boo Boo Returns With New Song 'Movin' Up'...
Nearly a year since the cancellation of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, reality star Alana Thompson has returned, releasing her first song "Movin' Up," along with an accompanying music video.

Joined by singer/songwriter Adam Barta and her sister, featured vocalist Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Shannon, the single marks the 10-year-old's first attempt at becoming a singer.

Alana raps on the track, acknowledging her past television and beauty pageant history with lyrics such as: "Started out as a pageant queen/Then on TV doing my thing/Now movin' up in the world/New fun times with my girls."

The music video features Alana and her family, including matriarch Mama June Shannon and father

Mike 'Sugar Bear' Thompson, dancing in a studio while Honey Boo Boo tries to start the next dance craze by telling listeners during the chorus to "do the Honey Boo Boo bop."

On Twitter, Mama June announced that the single was available on iTunes.

Thompson's older sister Anna Cardwell did not make an appearance amid claims that she is owed more than $200,000 by Mama June and Honey Boo Boo LLC for unpaid appearances on the reality show.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was canceled in 2014 after reports surfaced that Mama June was dating her ex-boyfriend, a convicted child molester. She denied the allegations.

Taylor Swift Gives $50,000 To Help Dancer's Baby Nephew Fight Cancer...
Taylor Swift has donated $50,000 to help a baby nephew of one her dancers who has cancer.

Swift made the donation, confirmed by the baby's family, through a GoFundMe page for 13-month-old Ayden. Along with the donation, the "Wildest Dreams" singer wrote a short message to the infant.

"Baby Ayden, I'm lucky enough to perform with your uncle Toshi on tour," she wrote on the donation page. "All of us are praying for you and your mama and sending so much love your way."

Swift's dancer, Kim "Toshi" Davidson, first made his nephew's battle known on Instagram Tuesday, revealing it is still unknown why type of cancer the baby has. "Keep him in your prayers please," he wrote alongside a photo of himself and the child. "If you want to donate...all I ask is for you to pray for him."

Since the page was created on Sept. 29, 51 people including the famous pop star have donated to baby Ayden's cause, raising a total of $53, 710. Ayden's mother, Lindsey Licari, wrote a thank you note on the page.

"I want to take a moment and thank everyone for all your contributions, prayers, and thoughtful words," she wrote. "Taylor you have taken an enormous weight off my shoulders by allowing me to walk this journey with my son and be his protector...I will be forever grateful to Taylor and each and every person who made a contribution to Ayden's fight."

'Serial' Podcast To Receive TV Adaption...
The popular Serial podcast, a weekly investigative journalism series following controversial cases, is headed to television.

Fox 21 Television Studios and directors Christopher Miller and Phil Lord have secured the rights to the podcast in order to adapt it into a cable television series. On screen, the show will reportedly follow the making of the podcast as it follows one of its gripping cases.

Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street co-directors Miller and Lord are signed with 20th Century Fox and already executive produce its Last Man On Earth. The upcoming show covering Serial reportedly fits in line with the duo's agreement with the film corporation.

Serial is, as a podcast, executive produced by This American Life's Sarah Koenig and Julie Snyder. The two public radio veterans, in addition to co-producer Ira Glass, will executive produce the show alongside the directors.

"Chris and Phil take an unexpected approach to telling stories and that is so appealing to us at Serial," Snyder said in a statement. "Developing a show with them is exciting because we feel like we speak the same language, only they're smarter than us."

The NPR broadcast's popular first season investigating the murder of Hae Min Lee will not be the first story covered by the upcoming series, reports say.

Those at Serial are currently working on the podcast's second season while a third is scheduled for next year. Maxim reports an upcoming story will follow the case of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, a soldier who left his post in Afghanistan, allegedly to travel to another base to report wrongdoing in his unit, and was subsequently captured by the Taliban and held prisoner for five years. He is charged with Desertion with Intent to Shirk Important or Hazardous Duty, and Misbehavior Before the Enemy, and could face up to life in prison.
