Prince William and Kate Middleton Are Engaged!!!

The wait is over: Prince William and Kate Middleton, having been a
couple on and off for eight years, are finally set to wed, they
have announced.

While no date has been revealed, it is thought the ceremony will be
held in a few months and be the biggest since William's mother,
Diana, married Prince Charles.

"Everyone is absolutely delighted. He has never had eyes for any
other woman since Kate came on the scene," says an old friend.
"She is going to make a wonderful wife, a wonderful princess."

Both the future bride and groom are 28.

The Official Statement
The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of
Prince William to Miss Catherine Middleton.

The wedding will take place in the Spring or Summer of 2011, in
London. Further details about the wedding day will be announced
in due course.

Prince William and Miss Middleton became engaged in October during
a private holiday in Kenya. Prince William has informed The Queen
and other close members of his family. Prince William has also
sought the permission of Miss Middleton's father.

Following the marriage, the couple will live in north Wales, where

Douglas's Ex-Wife Won't Get His Wall Street Money...

Michael Douglas's money is safely his ... for now. A Manhattan judge
has dismissed a lawsuit filed by Michael's ex-wife Diandra Douglas,
seeking half of his paycheck from his fall film Wall Street: Money
Never Sleeps.

Michael, who recently finished treatment for throat cancer, was
"very excited" when he learned of the judge's decision, his lawyer
Marilyn Chinitz said, adding, "This case should never have been
brought in the first instance and certainly not in New York."

In the suit, Diandra argues she is entitled to half of the profits
from the Wall Street sequel since Michael made the first film when
they were married. But Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Matthew Cooper
ruled New York was the wrong place for the case to be heard since
the couple's divorce was finalized in California. The judge
dismissed the suit without ruling on the merits.

Nancy Chemtob, Diandra's lawyer, said she plans to appeal. "We
respectfully disagree with the decision, and intend to appeal. Both
parties are residents of New York, and the case should be decided
here."

But Chinitz says she hopes the case will ultimately be dropped: "I
hope she realizes she wasted a lot of time and money. Hopefully she
will move on and leave Michael alone finally."

Dancing's Kyle Massey Loses 8 Inches Off His Waistline...

The closer he gets to the Dancing with the Stars finale, the more
Kyle Massey likes the slimmer physique he sees in the dance-studio
mirror.

"It's crazy to think you're going to come into a competition like
this and not lose weight with the hours you're going to have to
put in," the Disney Channel star, 19, told PEOPLE backstage Tuesday
night after Kurt Warner's elimination. "I know I'm going to keep
losing weight as long as I'm on this show."

Massey has had the encouragement of his dancing partner Lacey
Schwimmer since day one. "He's lost eight inches!" she said of her
ballroom buddy who has lost 18 pounds. "He's really loving it. He
looks in the mirror all the time."

Adds Massey, "I've had at least three gallons of sweat on top of
Lacey."

Although he's all for sweating off the pounds in the studio, Kyle
isn't equally dedicated to dieting.

"He ate a whole pizza today," Schwimmer said.

Owning up to his eating habits, Massey admitted, "Today's pizza and
football day."

Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt Renew Their Wedding Vows...

This time it's not just reality, it's for real.

After calling his made-for-TV Hills marriage ceremony "a nightmare,"
Spencer Pratt, along with wife Heidi Montag have said "I do" for
what they call their first "real" wedding.

"It's just me and my bride on a little secret beach with nobody else,
and it's just about her," Spencer says of their vow renewal, which
took place Sunday at a beachfront house in Carpenteria, Calif. "Last
time it was about everything else, it was about drama, it was about
ratings."

Echoes Heidi: "It was about everyone but us, so this is really our
first wedding about Spencer and I and our love."

Seemingly happier than ever, Heidi says she can "finally just be
Heidi," adding, "I'm just really enjoying every day."

The duo, who recently said they are broke, had their dream wedding
donated to them.

Britney Spears's Divorced Parents Reconciling...

Britney Spears's parents, Lynne and Jamie Spears, are reconciling
eight years after their divorce.

"They are back together and are doing well and happy," a source
says." [They're] not remarried but back together."

The couple, who divorced in 2002, were looking friendly on Saturday
at Los Angeles lounge Boudoir. Onlookers at the lounge spotted
Lynne and Jamie cheering and dancing as DJ Mr. Best spun Britney's
hits, like "Toxic" and "Gimme More."

"They were in a great mood together," says an onlooker. "They were
laughing together, dancing and laughing [and] totally having fun."

"Lynne is a dear, sweet person," a family friend says. "She deserves
happiness. As her friend, my wish for her would be a happy ending."

In 2002, shortly after the breakup of her parents' 30-year marriage,
Britney said it wasn't a bad thing.

"It's the best thing that's ever happened to my family," says
Britney. "My mom and dad, bottom line, do not get along. When I was
a baby, they argued."

Britney, 28, also has been doing well romantically, and is currently
dating Jason Trawick, 38.

Lynne and Jamie have been back together as a couple since last
summer.

LOOSE LIPS: "If Brad Pitt walked down the street, cars would crash
into each other. I'm really lucky not to have to deal with that."

*-*-* GUESS WHO *-*-*-

This late singer is among four new inductees into the GMA Gospel
Hall of Fame....

It's Johnny Cash...

DeGarmo & Key, the Golden Gate Quartet and Bill "Hoss" Allen also
will be inducted on Jan. 24 in Hendersonville, Tenn.

Johnny was raised on gospel music and famously turned to religion
and Christian music midway through his career in search of a way
to beat his problems with addiction.

This year's inductees come from very different backgrounds. Rock
band DeGarmo & Key was the first Christian act to air a video on
MTV. The Golden Gate Quartet introduced jazz to gospel. Allen
helped take the sound of gospel to the nation as an influential
DJ on WLAC out of Nashville.

The Gospel Music Hall of Fame was founded in 1971 and more than
150 members have been inducted so far.
