Hello Everyone...

It's almost Cinco De Mayo, so I was thinking if there were any good tunes for the special occasion. I couldn't think of anything...then it hit me like a sack of bricks. Bob Dylan! There's one slightly unknown tune called Isis that mentions 'the fifth day of May' As I've mentioned before I'm a big fan of Dylan, but I only got a few greatest hits albums when I discovered him.

So how did I find this rarer gem? The answer: a cover by my favorites: The White Stripes. I watched a few of Dylan's performances (he drastically changes the entire sound of it from day to day) and much prefer this live Stripes version to any others. It's a cool folk song accompanied with some sloppy, guitar riffs in between verses that only adds to the mood of the song. It's awesome! Sadly, the video footage isn't great (it was from at least a decade ago!) but the sound is fine.
