Hello Everyone...

I admit I take waaay too much pleasure from my car's satellite radio. I gladly pay one of the only unnecessary expenses as a recent college grad. Okay I guess there are a few other unnecessary purchases I've made lately like a handful of Xbox games, Walking Dead graphic novels, and vinyl records (I finally got all of Nirvana's studio albums now!)

But one of the tunes that I've been hearing lately on one of the indie channels (SiriusXMU and sometimes AltNation) is a song called I Used To Know by Gotye, who came out of Australia. The tune is awesome, so I was hesitant to listen to a gimmicky-looking cover by a band called Walk Off The Earth. They have all 5 bandmembers playing on the same guitar, and I really didn't want to like it as much as I did. I recommend listening to the original and then this cover - I like it for it's obviously more guitar-centered sound, and their singing keeps with the soul of the original. (And yes...that riff sounds like BaaBaa Black Sheep...)

And check out the stoic sea captain all the way on the right... I like his style.
